Nick Lucs | Founder & CEO of Social Nickel
Nick has always been a go-getter.
While obtaining his marketing degree at ISU, he already had a full-time job for a marketing agency working on large scale accounts. And now, he has over a decade of experience in the digital marketing space.
Nick also worked for a SEO agency, Blue Traffic, and a large startup in Minnesota, When I Work, before launching Social Nickel in 2017.
Since its inception, Social Nickel has successfully launched social media campaigns for local family businesses, global e-commerce businesses, and regional business associations. We have also handled digital marketing for the second largest Ag show in the country.
In 2020, Social Nickel was a Hashie Award runner-up for Best Social Media Contest. Social Nickel has also grown over the years and built out a staff that includes a Google Ads Specialist, Videography/Photographers, and a Marketing intern from ISU.
When Nick isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his family. You can also occasionally find him teeing off on the golf course or in the field hunting pheasants with his hunting dog, Prairie.
Anna Lucs | Co-Founder & Director of Client Services
Anna has a diverse background with over a decade of experience in marketing and communications management.
Anna worked at Cargill in grain farm marketing, Two Rivers Marketing on the Bobcat & Doosan construction equipment team, and at a non-profit organization (Wildwood Hills Ranch) as a Marketing Director for several years.
Anna has helped companies drastically move the needle through marketing, communications, and fundraising efforts. For example, Anna has helped a company raise $1.3 million dollars annually through marketing and fundraising efforts.
Due to the rapid growth of Social Nickel and the start of mom life, Anna decided to resign from her Marketing Director role in non-profit and join her husband’s Social Nickel team in 2021.
Anna also loves spending time with her family, running, and volunteer coaching high school track and cross country. Fun fact – her and Nick met at ISU where they were both on the track team and majored in marketing.
